Hurtis installed my Furnace and AC unit about 4 years ago. The service from install to today has been exceptional. They are always prompt and very helpful. I relocated my thermostat after the furnace install and they made a special trip to deliver some wire for me. Completely unexpected and I was very grateful for that. I certainly recommend Hurtis to anyone in the area!!

We have trusted Hurtis Heating since 2014. We were looking to replace our heating system of wood boiler/fuel oil. We had several estimates. First of all, they always came out when they said they would and gave us a competitive rate. They also worked with us on available credits to switch to propane. They had great ideas to fit our needs since we live in an old farm house converted to modern living space. They were professional, quick and clean. About 7 years later we had to call the emergency line when our furnace was not heating after returning from a trip. They were very responsive to get us heat in Feb. They are always responsive and a great service to work with.

Hether was very helpful over the phone, very easy to talk and fast survice. Thank you everyone at Hurtis. Especially Heather you were my first impression of the company. You were very thorough over the phone, super nice and easy to talk to. Honest and got someone out the next day to look at our furnace. I appreciate both gentlemen who came out to the house. One gentlemen to look over the furnace and he even had time to do a cleaning. I first heard of Hurtis from the TV ads. They have replaced the 3 systems that were originally in the house when we moved in. Every step of every interaction has been professional and completed in a reasonable timeframe. The products they installed have been great and have reduced our heat and AC costs!Tanner lived up to the high expectations we have for Hurtis. He was professional and pleasant.

This is an update to a review I left about 3 years ago. My initial review was extremely positive. However, I felt I needed to leave an update after having a unit for 4 years regarding my long-term experience so far. Things went fine up to this point. I have paid them to come to do routine maintenance and I would say we have been happy with the Mitsubishi brand overall. However, we recently experienced a system failure. So, the service experience was put to the test. Come to find out, the failure was due to a faulty union compression fitting that was used for the initial install. After having a discussion with the company about that and having them confirm that they no longer use that particular fitting because it was defective to begin with, they still feel that I should have to pay for the service of having it replaced. Mind you, it sounds like it is going to be about a day's worth of labor to do so. (I mean...this is a part that should have lasted the life of the unit. It's not a maintenance item.) It's been several weeks since that call, and I have yet to hear back from them. I wasn't trying to a problematic customer; I was just trying to ask them to do the right thing here. I'm not sure most customers would feel that the cost of a faulty component like that should be borne by them. Think of it as similar to a vehicle recall. (This thing costs almost as much as a vehicle.) Things that were not designed to fail prematurely should not be placed on the shoulders of the customer....this kind of stuff needs to stop in our society. The caveat here is to be very careful about how they use the product warranties to sell you their products. I spent premium dollars on the Mitsubishi brand, partly because it came with a 12 year warranty (Well, parts warranty that is). I was told I would not have any problems with the unit as long as I had regular maintenance done on it...which I have...and have paid them to do. Well, the 12 year warranty turned out to be lipstick. The actual warranty that matters is the 1year labor warranty...unless you want to pay for an extended warranty. (By the way, whenever someone pushes extended warranties anymore...I consider that double-dipping in my book...it's a ridiculous concept when you think about it) There is a big discrepancy when a product comes with a 12 year parts warranty and a 1 year labor warranty....I should have noticed that red flag from the beginning...so lesson learned for me there). Very unfortunate. I'm still hoping they do the right thing here. If they do, I will praise them for it. If not, I'm just putting everyone else on notice here. That way, we can try to reward the businesses that have a genuinely clean conscience and care about the long-term relationship of their customers. A loyal customer...or any relationship for that matter...is based on trust, right? In this case, focusing on fine print doesn't instill feelings of trust...it instills feelings of being duped. Would they throw out that same fine print in the face of their own family member or close friend for this particular situation? I bet not.

Hurtis Heating and air has provided sales and installation service at my home in several occasions. My salesman, Matt, is absolutely awesome! Very knowledgeable in the field, providing multiple options, great communication and follow up before and after service installation. The installation crew, Nick, is also top notch, arriving in time, quality installation, cleaning up after themselves and always leaving my home better than they found it. When they leave, everything is tested and working flawlessly.Not sure how Hurtis competes on price, however the hassle free sales and service is worth every penny!Use with confidence!

I would definitely recommend this company for any future replacements or service.Replaced our 50 yr old 80+ Westinghouse with a brand new 90+ Rheem Econet communicating system. The comfort specialist Matt and the installers Loren and Kaden were the best.Yes they are a Trane dealer but Matt had other options as Rheem was a better fit for us cost wise and age of house. Didn't even bother getting other quotes from other HVAC companies for a new system due to quality of install was more important than costs.Worth every dollar we paid for plus some.

My furnace was having issues. They were able to come out the same day. Receptionist and technician was very professional and friendly. They came out attempted to look at it, of course it seemed to be running fine. He informed me my unit is very old, which I knew, and that they no longer make parts and suggested I either contact someone who is my unit brand dealer or they could install a new unit. They did not charge me since there was no work that had been preformed. We have decided to just get a new furnace and will definitely be calling them back to discuss the options.

I have used these guys twice now first to install a new central air conditioner in the summer then our heater needed to be replaced this winter. They are extremely knowledgeable on the phone, and the service techs were on time, friendly and very helpful. And they did a excellent job that looks 100 times better then what we had. The employees who came by to replace my furnace were too notch. If you are like me and don't know some of the basic maintenance and processes, they were nice enough to let me shadow them and give me tips on how to keep things running in ship shape. Their service manager Chad was really good about explaining the benefits of servicing the old furnace vs buying a new one and what options were available and didn't leave me feeling pressured They were really good about following up and making sure that my expectations were met. An unexpected couple thousand dollar purchase is never a fun thing to deal with, so having a team of people come by and take care of it, knowing I have a warranty and leaving me feeling like I knew more about the furnace and maintenance helped out a lot. Will definitely use them in the future.
