Jim (the owner) took a personal interest in our project when the furnace needed repair. He explained to us repair vs replacement and while the $500 repair seemed like the more attractive option, he showed us why replacement would be the better option given our situation. He also pointed out other improvements such as fixing the duct work which reduced the noise considerably in the basement. Now we can actually watch TV downstairs, thanks! At the time of purchase there were many eco-friendly rebates that were available from the government and the manufacturer which Jim explained to us even-though the rebates were not from Hurtis and they filed them for us which is a great service. You know the customer wants it just do it for them……a simple but great service! The installation team did a great job. They showed Leslie how the entire system works. They were friendly and cordial and represented your company well. They did a great job in the room and cleaned up behind themselves very well. You never would have known the job was done that day.
End to end the project went along without a hitch. In these times when you spend over $4500 you want to be satisfied and feel good about spending your money on something that really does not give you much pleasure but is more of a necessity. By the time the Hurtis Team left our house my wife was more than impressed and happy with her new Trane Furnace. It did exactly what we were promised it would do. That is how you maintain a strong business. Deliver on your words.
We chose Hurtis Heating & Air because of their outstanding history of accountability, reliability and customer service. Our overall experience with Hurtis was excellent, both with the Comfort Specialist we worked with and with the installation team. Every question was answered satisfactorily and in a way that we could understand, never once did they make us feel stupid or insignificant for asking a question. When the installation team was working they either took their shoes off or wore covers, without being asked to do so, lovely touch. In our case a part needed to be ordered, they did whatever they could to get us “up and running” until the part came in which was promptly installed when it did.
